Author, category, tag, daily, monthly and yearly archive pages can all be disabled independently of each other.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll have to make the appropriate modifications to your theme to avoid broken links, but that&#8217;s pretty much to be expected.<\/p>\n<p>It doesn&#8217;t remove those pages from the sitemap either (the one generated by vanilla WordPress).
