{"id":15515196,"date":"2022-03-31T18:14:13","date_gmt":"2022-03-31T18:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/google-site-maps-error-2\/"},"modified":"2022-03-31T18:46:45","modified_gmt":"2022-03-31T18:46:45","slug":"google-site-maps-error-2","status":"publish","type":"topic","link":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/google-site-maps-error-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Google Site Maps Error"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello<\/p>\n<p>Migrated my hosting and updated some of my sites, checked google console for my sitemaps<\/p>\n<p>from 2 of my sites with errors with blank sitemaps<\/p>\n<p>check the Yoast plugin and it displays an XML sitemap, so checked my robot.txt points to the correct path&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>cleared my cache etc, then removed Yoast and started again with no resolution<\/p>\n<p>Tried inputting sitemap into google same issue errors<\/p>\n<p>disabled XML option in Yoast and created sitemap online<\/p>\n<p>uploaded to my server and added the new sitemaps to google<\/p>\n<p>no issue found sites and URLs<\/p>\n<p>Does anybody have any idea what is causing this strange issue&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>a Manually created sitemap uploaded in root dir works <\/p>\n<p>but Yoast&#8217;s sitemap creates an error in adding in google console<\/p>\n<p>I have validated the URL with no errors<\/p>\n<p>The is url for yoast site map that google rejects with errors<\/p>\n<p>Sitemap can be read, but has errors<br \/>\nEmpty Sitemap<br \/>\n1 instance<br \/>\nYour Sitemap does not contain any URLs.
