If the problem is elsewhere I shall search further, but I need to eliminate WPvivid (which is otherwise an excellent plugin) as cause.<\/p>\n<p>I run a site <code>www.binnenstadduurzaam.nl<\/code> and have a test site <code>test.corryderek.nl<\/code> which I use for &#8230; er &#8230; testing <code>(binnenstadduurzaam.nl<\/code> and <code>corryderek.nl<\/code> are the same site). In general I keep both sites identical. <\/p>\n<p>Recently I made major changes on the <code>test<\/code> site and on 2 november used WPvivid to copy it to the <code>www<\/code> site. All seemed to be OK (I had made backups just in case) so I relaxed. A couple of minor updates went OK, then I started to notice problems with CSS settings (but could not pin anything down, and they were not crippling). <\/p>\n<p>Then (2 december) I needed to add a PDF file; I added it to the <code>test<\/code> site and that went well, so I added it to the <code>www<\/code> site and got a &#8220;not found&#8221; message. Investigation showed that uploading media files to the <code>www<\/code> site stored them in the uploads subdirectory of the <code>test<\/code> site. I hand-edited the relevant link on the <code>www<\/code> site to point to the <code>test<\/code> site, but this is only a workaround and I need a permanent solution. (If anyone wants to investigate it&#8217;s at the bottom of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.binnenstadduurzaam.nl\/projecten\/zonnepaneel\/\">https:\/\/www.binnenstadduurzaam.nl\/projecten\/zonnepaneel\/<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/test.corryderek.nl\/projecten\/zonnepaneel\/\">https:\/\/test.corryderek.nl\/projecten\/zonnepaneel\/<\/a> )<\/p>\n<p>Is it possible that, during the migrate, the old URL test.corryderek.nl was imported but not replaced by www.binnenstadduurzaam.nl in some file deep in WP&#8217;s bowels? (This might also explain why some CSS does not work.)
