\nI am having a problem with Wordfence plugin which somehow doesn’t seem to identify the correct IP. Sometimes I can’t even access my wordpress dashboard.<\/p>\n
On your forum I found that it has something to do with the host company, so I contacted Siteground.<\/p>\n
They responded by saying that I am using an external DNS zone (I have ads on my site)
\nand that the A records of my domain are pointed to some kind of proxy\/firewall.<\/p>\n
They think WordFence plugin is not properly configured to work with the amazonaws proxy\/firewall, thus it’s not detecting the source IP address.<\/p>\n
They also suggested to see how the plugin can be configured to work with the amazon proxy\/firewall.<\/p>\n
Can you help me on this? I mean your plugin says I am in Frankfurt (Germany) which is far from thruth!<\/p>\n
