I am helping someone with a WooCommerce site that caries various food items. We set out to include the ingredients for each item as an attribute but have run into problems. <\/p>\n
Essentially instead of importing, for example:<\/p>\n
ingredient 1, ingredient 2 ingredients 3, etc. (in that exact order). <\/p>\n
It imports each ingredient as a separate attribute (in the “ingredients” attribute group) and then displays them on the product page in alphabetical order. <\/p>\n
Obviously, and especially with ingredients (considering the ordering is important with the first ingredient in an ingredient is the main ingredient) does not work for us. <\/p>\n
It was recommended that we sidestep the whole problem by importing the ingredients as apart of the product description. However, I am afraid that this will impact the actual search results. <\/p>\n
Is there any way to address this issue and have the ingredients imported without being separated as individual attributes? For example:<\/p>\n
“ingredient 1, ingredient 2 ingredients 3, etc. (in that exact order).”<\/p>\n
