Posted link is a variable product with 2 variations (the parent prouct and its variations share the same SKU: 19XL199). Recently we found it in a few orders doesn’t have variation ID in the order edit page. Normally a variation in an order is shown like:<\/p>\n
SKU:19ES1513
\nVariation ID:239586
\nSKU:19ES1513<\/p>\n
But this item in those orders only show:<\/p>\n
SKU: 19XL199
\nSKU: 19XL199<\/p>\n
This issue seems to start to appear after our recent woocommerce upgrade. We don’t have a clue yet what could have caused this. This isn’t the only product with the issue. The issue occurs in random orders. We have suspected it was caused by customer adding the product in cart without choosing a variation which could explain why there is no variation ID shown in the order, but as we tested, not specifying a variation would have prevented customer from adding product in cart in the first place.<\/p>\n
So far we don’t know where to look, could someone shed a light on What could possibly caused it? <\/p>\n
