When MAMP is properly set up and running, it&#8217;s easy not realize if the website in the browser is running locally or remotely. Installing the &#8220;Local Development&#8221; plugin makes it easy to see via the green highlight in the admin bar along with the word &#8220;local&#8221; in it. Simple, visual and effective.
