I’m writing a blog post on programming. In a paragraph text, I need to highlight a part of code, so tried to use the inline code option. But it’s not working. <\/p>\n

This is how I should write: code<\/code>, or code<\/code>
\nBut whenever I write the closing backticks, one opening backtick disappears! Hence, it’s not working at all. <\/p>\n

Using Divi theme and some very common plugins. No syntax highlighter is correctly activated.
