I’ve tried to register a new account on wordpress.org. I have my own account, but I wanted to create a company account. Unfortunately, I used the wrong email address and so the registration confirmation email is unreachable \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n
When I try to re-register with the same account (https:\/\/login.wordpress.org\/register) I get the error “That username is already in use. The registration is still pending, please check your email for the confirmation link.” but I don’t have that email.<\/p>\n
When I try to get a new password (https:\/\/login.wordpress.org\/lostpassword) I get the error “There is no account with that username or email address.” (same when I try to log in with a bogus password)<\/p>\n
Effectively, the account is in limbo.
