I tested it myself and got the error, &#8220;There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After doing a little digging, I learned that the error is usually tied to recaptcha.<\/p>\n<p>So I went to the admin page for ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7 and changed the &#8220;Select reCaptcha Usage:&#8221; option from &#8220;Default Usage&#8221; to &#8220;recaptcha Version 2&#8221;.
