My development machine is Windows PC, with XAMPP 7. I don&#8217;t want &#8220;index.php&#8221; clutters my permalinks, so on Setting -&gt; Permalink Settings -&gt; picked Day and name. Works fine.<\/p>\n<p>But on my Debian server, the web has a problem: clicking on page links give 404.<br \/>\nOnly plain permalink works fine.
