I also duplicated and uploaded the mysql database under a new name with new table prefixes. I’ve made the necessary changes in the wp_config file – database name, tables prefix, updated the rewrite rules in the htaccess file, changed all the references in the database from the old url to the new url and I can access the website – the site appears to be working ok, I can access it and navigate through the pages – all is well – the setup seems correct. However, when I try to access the dashboard the login appears to work ok but instead of accessing the dashboard I’m directed to a copy of the site with no ability to edit any of the pages. I don’t get any error messages just a display of the home page with an extra bar along the top – not unlike the wp forum page with the ability to logout in the top right hand corner.<br \/>\nAny suggestions?<br \/>\nThanks<br \/>\nPaul      <\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-10621197","topic","type-topic","status-publish","hentry"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/10621197","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/topic"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/topic\/10621197\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=10621197"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
