The latest Elementor update has caused massive problems for my site, and I fear I’ve made it worse. On Monday after updating the plugin, my site immediately crashed and I was unable to even access WordPress dashboard. I then removed the plugin via FTP (I realise now I should have just disabled it not deleted it – that’s my big mistake!) as such we have lost all our format on our website \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n
I was then able to get back into the dashboard after removing it, however as soon as I try to re-download Elementor, I get this message, and we are back to square one, unable to access dashboard.<\/p>\n

Do you know why this is happening to our site? Its so frustrating as I spent months building the website with Elementor and had no problems at all, it was only when I updated the plugin on Monday that this all started happening?<\/p>\n
I fear having to restart and build the website again from scratch with another plugin \u2013 any guidance would be welcome.<\/p>\n
