Our site was flagged by the Google Ad Experience report for the entry-pops we were using (mostly for serving welcome ads). Google said they’d start blocking ALL ads on our site on Google Chrome within 30 days.<\/p>\n
The problem is that most promo tool like Sumo, Thrive, ConvertPro, etc. show content on a page and then show the entry-pop. That violates Google’s guidelines. But this plugin shows the entry pop \/ welcome ad first with a ghosted image of the site behind it … before it ever shows actual content. For some reason, this does NOT violate Google Ad Experience guidelines. <\/p>\n
Bottom line, we can now serve our welcome ads again without violating the Google Ad Experience report.<\/p>\n
