You asked for an honest review so I will give one. You want to have a great theme that has huge respect and make people ask for more? Then make sure it passes pretty close on w3c.org and Google PageSpeed Insights. Test this in browser shots and beta.screenqueri.es.
Now, to give details about what I am saying here;
1. it passes pretty well for w3c and pagespeed insights, but could be better.
2. Does not do well in screenqueri though. The header is not mobile responsive, it looks like you forgot about that in coding.
3. Editing restrictions: you have these 5 elements or points with photos with a really cool hover effect but no way to make those images clickable.
4. You give an option when creating a page to choose the home page as the template, but if you set this as your static home page, none of the content appears. I would assume this would have appeared under the or above the Latest Blog Posts section.
I know this is a free theme, but these are what makes you stand out over the rest. I will update my star rating if you fix these.

The good news again, it that it looks great and is a clean fresh design. The graphics are original. This free version of theme is pretty, but lacks some basic customization. For example, there are words at the bottom that make the theme useful for only those who have blog items to post or those users who want a big map at the bottom of their home page. This version seems to emphasize developer decision over customization. Since I am working for a nonprofit, they cannot afford the paid version, so I had hoped the free version offered more customization. I have read ALL the documentation and worked with this theme extensively.
