Two days ago, I bought a .com extension for my Blog. I was going to buy a wordpress theme because I was frustrated with the available options. I found Mantra theme by chance. I was amazed by the "200 customization" options that it allows. I now have a "presentation page" in which I could finally create three sections for the posts I publish in Arabic, English, and German.
Since yesterday, the only problem I found is that for two times, the settings for the presentation page were changed spontaneously. I do not know if the theme or I was the reason.
I was looking for a new theme for a customer and spent hours and hours experimenting with new themes (to me). Then I tried Mantra and it just worked. Everything I needed was there. My new site emerged as fast as I could type. There are many good themes, many very good themes, but very very few outstanding themes. I rate Mantra in that group.
I own multiple themes...some of them work, some of them don't do what they promise, and some of the "flexible" themes don't let you edit them.
I own several websites, and all I can say is that when I totally get frustrated with a new theme, I ALWAYS go back to my Mantra. It's simply the best, most flexible, most customizeable theme there is.
After 4 frustrating hours trying to make a theme do what it said it would today, a theme for which I paid a lot of money, I went to my Mantra, and had the site up and running, fresh and new in an hour. You just can't beat Mantra.
THANK YOU! Kelli Roig RN
Beautiful, functional and versatile. Loved the presentation feature on the landing page.
Responsivity also works very well.
I tried the woocommerce plugin with it even though there was a message saying that it might not be compartible, but it is working pretty well so far, specially since I really don't know what I am doing. I Read the kvetching about the sliders but I have not tried them yet. I was using Weaver II( which I think is great) but for some reason I kept getting things showing up where they were not supposed towhen I started using woocommerce
First off, this is a really cool theme but it just doesn't work well. I have the content slider set for Recent Posts and while it shows the post info on each transition, it doesn't show any images. I have tried to figure it out on my own and I have posted FIVE times to their support forum and not once got a reply that was the least bit helpful. If this is the kind of support they offer then these folks will not be getting any money from me. If what they are implying is that they don't give you good support unless you pay them, DON'T MAKE IT A FREE THEME.
It's really sad because I really like this theme but because of my terrible experience with their support, I would NEVER recommend any themes by this company to anyone.
I love the theme however, I would like to be able to recieve help faster. I wrote in the forum 2 days ago and only received an answer from someone who looked like they where actually trying to ping-pong me. Started saying I had posted to other themes when I'm asking on a single theme. If help was available as fast as one gets help from other themes, this would definetly be a 5 star. Right now, I have about 5 things I want to do and no help whatsoever.
Great theme that has complete options like what a paid theme has! Keep it up! Try and you'll be satisfied. plus great userfriendly interface! Thanks!
It has all kinds of customizable settings and an export button to back them up and an import button to reload them if they change on an upgrade. The last couple of upgrades didn't lose my settings, so even though I saved them, I didn't need to import them again.
Support has also been great so far!
The theme is nice and easy to work with. The premium support offered with donation was fantastic! So patient and helpful.
