Since WordPress 4.0, Flato has messed with the backend a bit. I've tried and tried to tweak it to not mess up certain parts (e.g. comments list on the "Recent Activity" widget).
Flato could use more customization freedom -- the categories, for example, only show if there are two or more categories. I've tweaked the code and got them to show nevertheless before, but am now unable to do so without intense customization. It's a great theme to build off of, but otherwise, it really needs an update.
I don't recommend this theme to users who want a low-maintenance theme or an easily-customizable theme, as this breaks a little with each WP update. (I'm only putting up with it for my child theme until I can afford to book a [non-Genesis] designer.)
Thanks a lot to the developers. Its a beautiful theme, I use for my personal blog. Very nice work.
Thanks again for share your work with us.
Looks great and entirely fits my description of a good quality WordPress theme. Totally satisfied and live on my blog.
Just now i downloaded. Itlooks nice. Thanks
Less is more.
Thank you for this beautiful simple theme.
I needed an uncluttered and good-looking theme simply to get me through a content test phase of a site relaunch. This theme more than meets my needs in that area. It would certainly be a fine choice for any live site too.
Kudos to the designer for offering it to the WordPress community!
Simple,clean and attractive!
Just love it.
After jumping to various theme finally found what was needed.
Elegant and efficient theme that also seems to be decently coded. Given the fact that it suppose to cater many needs and preferences, which add some bloat and inefficiencies to code, this is not a trivial thing to have.
I love this theme! I wish it had post formats but I'm hoping you're going to include it in the future :)
