my first experience with wordpress! Just installed this theme and it looks fantastic!
I purchased Custom Community Pro on 7/26/13, thinking that the download would be available as soon as I paid. They only allow payment via PayPal e-check, and it appears that the check needs to clear before the download will be available. They say nothing about this on their site, and I am now behind in development by several days. I sent an inquiry about it, but only got a reply that they will get back to me. If this is an example of how they operate, I think I am going to cut my losses here and go with another developer's theme so I don't waste time trying to get support. Too bad because it looked like a nice platform.
Super excellent theme. One of the most flexible I've used. Awesome job!
I used it for 2 months.
Lots of problems, bugs and recently also unwanted optimizations that change the behavior of previously alright functions.
Highly not recommended unless you want to spend long frustrating hours tweaking it instead of enjoying the summer outdoors.
5 * - Excellent theme !(You may think of renaming it to-
All you had ever wanted in a Community theme, theme)
This theme is easy to use and looks pretty nice right out of the box. I don't know squat about xhtml or css so being able to find a theme that I can make do the things I want it to do w/o having that knowledge is a boon in my book.
Wonderful theme! There are so many different options: colors, fonts, slideshow - to name a few. I love it!
So many options! I was able to get the site pretty much just like I wanted! Thank you developers!
Well, that was my first post when I gave the theme 5*, then I checked the responsiveness. As others have said, the menu gets ugly, the header doesn't resize. If you put the header in as a logo it resizes, but the menu bar moves to the wrong position and the Logo leaves a lot of white space at the top. It probably has something to do with the search bar.
Yep, that was caused by the search bar. So, I got the header/menus working pretty good but not perfect work-around: I disabled the search bar in the theme's BuddyPress tab (I can use a widget instead) then I moved my Header Image into Logo and set Header Image as None. This solution gave me a little extra white space at the top of the "Logo", probably left over from the margin of the search bar but it beats what it looked like before.
So now my Header resizes and the menu bar stays pretty reasonable.
Hope this helps someone!
nothing to say, very very good.
thanks a lot.
