I love this theme - it started out as a simple, minimalist design for my writing portfolio, but now I've started using the blog function as well, and it's just so gorgeous. I did create a child theme to make my own adjustments, but it works wonderfully even after tweaking. Thank you.
This is a beautiful theme, simple but has lots of potential. Great job
Minimal but elegant, modern but classic, simple but very well designed! Magnificent.
I have been using Bold Headline for a bout 5 months. It is great and easy to use.
I found this theme elegant, and perfect for updating one of our sites. It was easy to make adjustments, as it was not over-complicated in design. Christine was great in answering / resolving some responsive header design questions right away! I'll probably use this theme again and again.

I decided to write out a full review on my site but here is the gist of it: I like it. :)
I was looking for a theme for static web articles publication for free reading.
My articles are on a theme and the Bold Headline Theme serves my purpose perfectly. My site appears quickly in Google's 1st page upon searching by the theme words or the tag words.
Theme designer Christine is very helpful and answered my enquiries.
Bold Headline combines two qualities I've always admired and emulated in communications design: a) it's well crafted, functional, and beautiful, and b) at the same time, it also has a soul.
I'm a graphic designer turned writer. So, while I wanted a WordPress theme that "telegraphed" the fact that my site is about the words, I still wanted it to be visually just right. Bold Headline accomplishes both those things, but the soul part is that subtle nuance of editorial design that's embodied in Christine's sensitive typography and composition. There's so much more here than meets the eye: historical reference, art, even humor, in a way.
I'm loving Bold Headline and expect to keep it my theme for a long, long time. But I'm also looking forward to what more will come in the future from this smart designer.
I chose a static page as startpage and another page as blog. On this blog I miss the link "Leave a reply" to leave a comment. I can only get to the comment section by clicking on the titel of the article.
Perfect for what I am doing with my blog.
