I tried the plugin on different wordpress themes. It is not working with yootheme themes. However, since the plugin is an excellent plugin with compatible themes, I just have to give it a five star rating.
If it was a "pro" or "premium" version of this plugin with a refund policy, with a price tag that gives it a serious impression, I would definitely buy it.
Free plugins are more like "open relationships". In this case, my hearth is broken since it will not work with my theme.
This is one of the few plugins available for adding citations to WordPress. Even if there were other plugins, this one would blow them out of the water! There are tons of features which allow users to achieve nearly any result they wish. Awesome development and communication from the devs. Highly recommended.
Just installed, works great, even searching through a library of 18,000+ citations!
Seems to be very flexible, user friendly, and simple to use.
I recommend it!
Fab plugin highly maintained. very useful for academics and similar :)
One of those plugins that save you hours making page for publications or write an online short paper. It's flexible and small bugs are fastly solved by the developper.
I've been looking for a way to display references for a long time, and finally now, this one works and works well. Very nuanced and flexible. And Katie is the most responsive plugin author I've ever come across, better than most who charge for their work.
Makes writing so much easier!
Fantastic plugin, works seamlessly with Worpdress and allows for a great deal of flexibility in selecting collections, tags, and individual items.
I'm the webmaster at OPK-Opistobranquis (http://opistobranquis.info/en) and I find this tool extremely useful.
I previously used Bibliplug Enhanced to manage bibliographic references, and it worked well until WordPress 4.0, then it failed and it was not maintained since 2 years ago, so I had to discard it. Then I switched to Zotpress and I'm delighted.
Zotero Standalone is a good bibliographic reference tool (not as powerful as Endnote, but it's free), and this plugin really works when displaying the proper references in the proper WordPress posts. I do so by linking the post name to equivalent tags in the bibliographic references and a bit of PHP code.
I'm working with over 20.000 bibliographic references and it works just fine, if a bit slow when sinchronizing the Zotero server database with the WordPress Zotpress database. Maybe there's a bit of improvement here, by only moving differences, not the whole database every time Sync is performed.
Anyway, thank you for this superb piece of code.
