I have tried a Different Chat Plugin 2 months ago that slowed my site down to a near stop! I had given that plugin support team a chance but they responded as slow as their plugin.
Now have been using Zopim for the last 4 weeks and Pingdom reports my site is fast with only miniscule extra load times.
Intuitive enough for a n00b like myself to setup right out of the box.

I use Zopim before and this plugin integrates well into my WP site.
Very happy with this service, I find it excellent and a great way to help convert sales, and communicate with my customers when they are on site. It also has a higher usage than the info@ email we use, people prefer to send a quick not via Zopim service so we can follow up when we are not working.
Just the right mix of free services vs. paid services for small businesses. Best of all, this system can grow with your needs and a decent price. I've tried dozens of Live Support plug-ins and this is the ONLY one that lets me do what I want without having to pay an arm and a leg for it.
It's works very well and it's very simpleto use and configure.

Now I can get my all chats at my wordpress admin so i don't need to open more browsers.
Love the plugin... it does everything I expected it to do and more! With the free trial it was excellent, then the trial ran out and I was automatically put on a free plan. I have to say, even the free plan (Lite, I think they call it) is very comprehensive, providing not only a very stable/reliable chat plugin but also more information/tracking about visitors than WordPress itself! I can go onto the dashboard at any time and see who's on my site, the country and region (and the nearest city) they're in, their name if they put it in, operating system, device (sometimes), browser, IP address, page path... the possibilities are endless with this much information available. But I upgraded to a basic plan for around $10/month, and this allows even more options such as an option to leave an offline message, and completely customise it, and change users, and have more than 1 chat running at a time.
When there are people onsite, and there are no chats happening, I can go onto any of the visitors' profile and see the pages they've looked at. If I can see that they have bounced around a bit, they're lost, so I send them a message. This pops up on their screen and they're instantly in touch.
A feature I wouldn't be able to use Zopim without is the sound/audio cue. Such a small feature I know, but it's amazing how many other chat plugins/widget there are that don't have it (and I've tried a few).
There is an option to save/email a transcript, and you can actively interact with real customers on your website, recommend products, send them links (that they can just click, and it opens. Some just send links as text) and when the link is clicked, the chat window (which is not a popup) goes to the page you've linked to. Great way to show customers areas of your website that they might not otherwise have known about.
If something goes wrong, like you're having trouble installing it (it is a bit tricky) the team at Zopim are there on their website; just chat, and most likely they'll be able to help.
Overall a great plugin and I'm a very happy user.

Works great, low cost and interfaces in with our CRM...VTiger CRM.
No wonder that (currently) little bit less then 70.000 users downloaded this plugin, plugin quality is on very high level.
I'm extremely satisfied with Zopim plugin, especially with their free plan :-) Definitively worth of trying, there are many reason and one of those reasons is that I noticed increase of messages/questions on products sent by users , especially using Zopim off-line mode, it seems that users prefer this channel then Contact Forms, probably due to easy usage and visibility. Very useful for conversions...
