it was a bit of a pain to get it to do what I wanted (which was something I could do in html & css in less than 5 mins). Not worth the hassle and frustration. Move along to the next plugin.
I use the plugin now for about half a year and it made my life regarding Youtube-Wordpress Posts way easier. I love the high ammount of settings and functionality of the Plugin.
If you're looking for a smooth plugin to add Youtube Videos to your WordPress, this one i can recommend. It works well in its core feautures and if you look for tad more i recommend to get the Pro Version. I'm using the Pro Version on two pages and without the need of 10's of steps this Plugin provides me with enough customisation to make posting a Youtube video a breeze.
As a Pro user i also took the advantage of the Pro Support and the help was always great, fast and on point, many thanks for the great help once again!
Using the pro version of the plugin. Does what it says and looks great on all platforms! Support is super fast and easy.
I have been using tubepress for years until they pulled the switch-a-roo on everyone with the upgrade and crippled it. So I was on the hunt for something different.
I downloaded the free version, installed it, setup the API key, etc., etc., and it simply worked out of the box. Granted there some some technical things I'd like to see updated like visual composer integration, shortcodes, better video size control, and a few other things, but for something free, it works out of the box for the basics.
Now most of the negative reviews are about the developer asking for 20 bucks for the Pro version which adds some nice little features to the plugin such as more unique gallery presentation, cache control to increase load/response times, lazyload functions, etc.
It's 20 bucks. The free version works and it works as described out of the box. If you want the pro features, then it's only $20 and well worth it.
Plus for something that actually works and does what it's supposed to do, yeah, I'll pay the guy that wrote it $20 and say job well done for fixing a problem and giving some better functionality to WordPress.
A lot of options indeed, looks good. But it seems that when a problem is there, no plain answer is provided. Like this.
It seems that when I add a playlist to my page I must not provide the ID of the playlist but of one of the video's in it. When I do so, I see that some video's are not shown, especially the ones I didn't upload myself. Is that default? Can I do something about that. So for example: I have a playlist with video's I recorded and uploaded myself and with video's I added to the list, but did not make myself. The last group is not shown in my page when I add that playlist-video. Why not load the adress of the playlist and show that playlist complete?
The upgrade price is small but the software really rocks. I am now converting all my work into YouTube videos and I could not have done it without this amazing software!

This is an excellent plugin. It is highly versatile with plenty of custom options. If you utilize YouTube videos on your WordPress website, this is a must have.
The technical support I received was super-fast and first rate.
One of my friend advise me to use this plugin. He is an expert in wordpress development and always gives me suggestion making my work easier. Firstly I doubt what he said, as it might be easier for him to use this plugin, as he is expert and I am newbie.
But trust me I found it very handy in using the plugin, as what my friend had said. This is the main reason why I fall in love with the wordpress, because it provide variety of comfortable plugins for use.
What a GREAT Plugin! After I purchased the PRO version I contacted support and got answers within 1 hour. Product is easy to use and works fantastic.
What else do these guys make? I'm interested!
