A few improvements and it will be a perfect plugin
By , for WP 4.5.3

Thanks for this plugin. It's very well made and looks nice and professional.

A few things to make it perfect:

  • Compatibility with Multilanguage sites (WPML)
  • Where to display it options (only home, only shop, all pages, etc.)
  • It will be great that when the target time is reached, it disables the Book Now button or better yet disable and close the countdown banner.

Keep on the good work, guys.

Love it.

Was looking for a good free countdown plugin and found this one. Tried it out and have received great reviews!

There were 2 issues:

1. The bar was off centered when we added some text, however we were able to make it centered easily by just adjusting our CSS code.

2. There is an issue with section available for text after the countdown, but before the button. For some reason, no matter what we did, the text was always super close to the "seconds" text - it looked pretty bad. So we just got a little creative with our text before the countdown and didn't include any text after the countdown.

All in all a solid free countdown plugin.

Professional Looking, but Not Secured
By , for WP 4.3.1

I really like and appreciate this plug-in. It worked great. However, I cannot use it simply because it disables the green padlock (makes it yellow due to unsecured fonts). I cannot use it on my SSL secured website.

Well, I certainly hope that I will be able to use it in the future. Please fix this guys.

Worked Perfectly

This plugin worked exactly how I wanted it to. Had no problems whatsoever. I was able to customize the color of the topbar which was important.

Does not work in Safari/Apple Devices
By ,

I am posting here as there has been no response to this feedback in the support. This plugin worked great but does not countdown in Safari, the seconds do not count down. Is there any solution to this as I have to remove it due to the client using Safari of course!

Few adjustments
By ,

1. It goes on top of my header, could you make an option so that it oads before the beginning of site instead that on top?

2. PLEASE, add a feature that it can be used without expiration date. Like I set 3 days and it restarts when it's done.

thanks you

Almost Perfect! Just a few compatibility issues.
By , for WP 3.9.1

I really love this countdown clock!!! I've tried several others and this one is the one I ultimately settled on, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my peers. Great work from the developers! :-)

I have tested this topbar countdown plugin extensively using the browserstack website.

The plugin works correctly in the latest version of every browser I tried in Windows 7/8 (IE, FireFox, Chrome, Opera, Safari).

It also works correctly in the latest version of every browser I tried on OSX Mountain Lion and Mavericks, except Safari 6.1 and 7.0.

It also works correctly on Android Devices, and on iPads running (Safari?) on IOS 6, but not on iPads running (Safari or FireFox) on IOS 7.

The problem is as the other two people described above. The clock itself appears correctly, but does not count down in realtime - it is frozen at the time the page loaded. It displays the updated time (again in frozen form) each time you reload the page.

I'm hoping that the developers will able to resolve these compatibility issues with the plugin as I am concerned about using it if it isn't supported on Apple phones/tablets running the latest version of IOS, or on the default browser on the latest version of the Mac operating system.

Good luck! :-)

It's great.

Really like this plugin.

How do I change the size of the bar? And the fonts? Thank you.
