This plugins was great, until InnoDB started becoming the norm for WordPress instead of MyISAM. So many users, including myself asked to update the plugin to work with InnoDB especially that full text indexing is now available in InnoDB, however the developer is not responding to our requests and not updating the plugin. I would have given the plugin 5 stars, however since it is unusable with InnoDB then you get one star. I would have given zero starts if possible, but no luck.
Overrides theme CSS with its own via !important declarations. Fix it!
According to the plugin P3 that tests performance this took up alot of resources on my VPS. Avoid. It is a known resource hog. Better to use the built-in Jetpack related functionality.
Be warned about this plugin especially if you have high traffic site. I installed this yesterday and my server went down the next day.
However, if you have low traffic site, this plugin should be fine. But avoid it as you can. I discovered another plugin that is not database intensive called jetpack. Go check it out.
This plugin truncated my post titles and distorted images when it created thumbnails. And I don't see any customization options available borders, fonts, etc.
Their API doesn't support SSL connection which makes this plugin useless for now. In addition, it finds not-so relevant posts if the content is not in English.
The plugin is not working at all for me, I'm left with the error message "No Related Post" although I am sure of there certainly are related posts. I've tried tweaking the setting as well, changing the default "match threshold" to something low such as "1" and in addition changing the settings to "consider" where this is possible. Still nothing. Very disappointed.
I will change my rating once this issue gets fixed. Please fix it.
Installed and went through settings. Checked my posts and the plugin did not show any related posts for any of them. Looks like others have the same problem. Not worth trying to troubleshoot just going to install yet another related-post plugin... hah! Maybe that's why it was given the name it has? As per other negative reviews, I'm sure the author will comment on how I've done something wrong or should spend my time with their support to get it working... Guess what? The next related-post plugin I just tried worked the first time. Cya!
i used it a while, until i realized it wasn't really working and only displaying some articles over some for no logical explanation (categories worked for 1/5 article or something..)
