I really like this plugin. It does exactly what it needs to.
It helps provide valuable related content for users when viewing a post, and that's huge in reducing bounce rates for those posts that receive a lot of organic traffic. It gives users another level of interest when they scroll to the bottom of the post and see related items.
I may suggest showing all the plugin's settings without having to go into 'screen options'. I very rarely look there to find more settings for a plugin, so its a bit of a hidden door if you know what I mean.
Thank you for this amazing plugin. Works just great!
Line 1024: $output .= '<img src="http://yarpp.org/pixels/'.md5(get_bloginfo('url')).'" alt="Yarpp"/>'."\n";
yeah... kind of intrusive dont u think? gathering the urls or the blogs that use this plugin.... :/
might wanna comment that line, or add a custom text like i did (might wanna take the alt value out, sometimes it doesnt load the image in http://yarpp.org/pixels/***** and it shows, looks)
Line 1024: $output .= '<img src="http://yarpp.org/pixels/'.md5('intrusive_much?').'" alt=""/>'."\n";
anyways thanks for the plugin dude :)
Related posts added another dimension to our company site, and YARPP made it adding that feature so easy.
The plugin is amazing! Nothing more to say.
Does what it's supposed to, includes links for RSS & post pages.
Thank you so much for sharing this plugin! It could not have been simpler to implement, but the added value is priceless.
Looked for other plugins, but needed one that worked with MU and configurable to work with custom post types. This worked straight out of the box.
Works straight out of the box but can quickly and easily be configured to work with custom post types and taxonomies. Great documentation also!
Good plugin but a major flaw needs to be fixed. There are certain pages that shouldn't be used as related content, right now it's using all pages. Supposedly you can Disallow by Category in the plugin settings page but that is not ideal for pages.
The plugin developer should implement a a new setting to exclude certain pages for being used via specific page ID numbers.
Excluded Page ID's (separate each page ID with a comma) [95,109,21]
It's been discussed and requested here but the suggestions don't help:
