Love the possibility to automatically send out newsletters that get filled with the latest posts. Also managing the database works like a breeze and last but not least, the service of the Mailpoet-team is fast!
I duplicate a prior newsletter and quickly make changes to the message and referenced blog post. My subscribers love the picture and teaser text they receive, and the ability to link directly to the post.
We tried several other "email generators" and have settled on MailPoet. We like the feature set, all of which work as described. The only trouble we're having is getting the cron job to launch with the free version of MailPoet. Haven't tried really hard - maybe thirty minutes of effort. Still the plugin is highly recommended.
I am very happy now with the Mailpoet plugin.
Especially for me as a newsletter newbie it is very helpful to get such an easy to use system.
And when I really got stuck the great support was quickly and friendly helping me out.
All that for free.
And as soon as I reach the 2000 subscribers I will be happy to upgrade to the pro version.
Veramente bello e completo, assolutamente consigliato.
Suggerimento: impostare un indirizzo e nome mittente di default, per non reimpostarlo tutte le volte.
Vorrei inrerire un "noreply"
Does everything one wishes from a Newsletter plugin...
Una grande risorsa per la spedizione di semplici e non newsletter
e molto valido grazie
After months and months of new versions of the software not working, the latest version finally works smoothly. For most of those months there were lots of promises but never any action. But no issues there now. It works ok.
The company uses misleading advertising about the user limit for the free version of the software.
They do not allow 2000 users if you have WP users not on the mailing list. They count those against the 2000 user limit.
I wanted to import a list of users from my message board so that I could install bbpress and move the members over to that platform. Mail Poet counted the imported message board members against their limit even though they were not, and were never intended to be, on any mailing list.
I have no problem with their price for the premium version, but this kind of bait and switch marketing is dishonest.
It raises questions about their willingness and ability to cope with any other issues that arise from time to time. Will they be up front, or lie and make excuses?
