Get accurate and beautiful weather forecasts powered by Wunderground.com
I was hoping this would work. It doesn't seem like any of the weather plugins work. This one -- it doesn't display location automatically like it says it will. The icons do not display at all. If you select Fahrenheit it still displays Celsius... nothing works. Very disappointing.
Upgraded to new version after only minimally satisfied with previous version. Couldn't find it anywhere on the admin panel after upgrading. Drives me nuts when developers make plugins like this and never say where it is and you can't find it.
Tried to use my own iconset... forget about it. The code provided has an error in it. I went to three different people I know who understand this kind of stuff way better than me and none of them could figure out how to get the iconset to work.
I know this is free but how good can their other plugins be if this is what they lead with?
The latest release wiped out the daily hi/lo temps and none of the other icon sets work, at least in my theme.
I've tried this plugin for a site in a city in Ontario, Canada and a city in the Dominican Republic. In both cases it could not find my location.
These are CITIES! Why can't it find my location?
The plugin is useless to me.
I would have given the old version 4 starts, but wunderground made a major change to its layout, which killed the original reason I picked it from among the alternative weather plugins. I just want a small and simple iconic weather display, not something that takes over my whole sidebar. In addition, wunderground now spills out of the widget boundaries.
Cannot use this in Dutch. It's only English. Users must be able to select a city in the widget. This is not possible. Good start but not mature yet.
The plugin works great, however it is not translatable. That's why it's unusable for us and all other languages but English.
I hate the UI
The plugin itself is okay, but icons are broken when installed and shortcode is used with multi-word city names.
This is a long standing problem...and is still the case in Feb 2015!
