Get accurate and beautiful weather forecasts powered by Wunderground.com
I've used this plugin since August 23, 2013, when we launched our site. This weather plugin has worked flawlessly. With this update, the widget no longer fits into the sidebar, it does not respond in any obvious way to changes made in the widget settings, and it now does not even have a forecast, telling me it cannot find my location, which it had not troule finding for the past 19 months.
Have the developers taken any notice of all the poor comments since the update? Everyone is saying the same thing. And there is no fix from the developer.
Way to trash a really good, reliable plugin. I hope Weather Underground is taking note and can find themselves a more competent developer.
Multi-word city names are broken and from the reviews have been for years. For a something like that to be broken for so long with only workarounds posted when having multi-word names is quite common seems surprising.
I've tried this plugin for a site in a city in Ontario, Canada and a city in the Dominican Republic. In both cases it could not find my location.
These are CITIES! Why can't it find my location?
The plugin is useless to me.
Only have problems with my language, otherwise is great.
I just want a small and simple iconic weather display, not something that takes over my whole sidebar. In addition, wunderground now spills out of the widget boundaries.
As a result I went back to 188.8.131.52 which gets the job done and looks good, staying within the widget boundaries. Installed on my second web site, but after looking at the out put, again put 184.108.40.206 on that site also. That looks good and does what I want.
New isn't always better.
If I was rating the 220.127.116.11 version it would definitely be 5 stars!
It could be best around, but still not there yet.
One of them that never showed different data on service website and your website. Beleieve me many weather plugins miss there, for one reason or other not important here.
A bit boring looking, but gets the job done.
I would have given the old version 4 starts, but wunderground made a major change to its layout, which killed the original reason I picked it from among the alternative weather plugins. I just want a small and simple iconic weather display, not something that takes over my whole sidebar. In addition, wunderground now spills out of the widget boundaries.
I work on a few sites where the upcoming weather forecast is a nice feature to have. This was a breeze to set up (see what I did there?). Looks great and most of all it works like it's supposed to!
This is the best weather-widget by far, still not perfekt. I managed making a multilanguage version by editing the php, now it's perfect for me!
