Attention, after purchasing the product, the service disappears. After a timid approach with Christopher Ross, a few days ago, one of the leaders of the service, nothing more. I would get a refund, but how can I do?
I hope that other producers of plugins are not like these
It says on your site that it "works on all popular mobile platforms", including FirefoxOS, but I found that to be false. It has all kind of errors everytime I'm launching my site from a FFOS browser and I can't navigate it.
After a lot of research I bought the WP Touch Pro plugin. It didn't work straight away (didn't display ads, menu was working, etc.) It was starting to cost me money so I contacted customer support, who got back to me very quickly. I gave a guy called Christopher access to my site to see if he could fix it. That was almost 2 weeks ago.
I've emailed their support team individually and collectively multiple times to see if this can be fixed before their 14 day money back guarantee expires. I've not received any response and the plugin still doesn't work. I have no faith left in the app and would like my money back but there's no on to contact.
Avoid the Pro version of this app like the plague. I'm going to have to contact Visa, and tell them I've been ripped off to have any hope of getting my money back.
Since the latest update, the front page of my blog (using Pinboard theme) no longer shows latest posts. I hope there's a fix coming soon.
When I deleted this plugin, it began to display my site as mobile when viewed on a desktop. Even after emptying cash on site and on browsers, it still remains! How do you get completely rid of it?
It was easy to set up... but most of what anyone might want is blocked out for the pro version. The only template open to free use is really ugly. I hate these bait n switch type developers... make it seem free but really nothing useful is free at all. If it isn't useful and free, then don't call it free. I wish wordpress would get wise to this and create some criteria for what can be put out there as free... the rating system doesn't allow for that. I know developers have to earn a living, but there is free stuff out there for a reason too, right? I'm not too cheap to pay when I can pay... but I can't do this work enough to make much and I tend to help out non profits who can barely pay me anything.
So I find people like these guys ruins it for everyone. Dilutes down good resources for those of us who can't afford much.
Authors have 'gone dark' after a critical error surfaced upon release of a new version. Like me, many are left with no mobile version of their site and no way to revert to the previous WPtouch version. Sad...
Didnt worked at all..
No windows open on click on WPTouch > Core setting or any other module
I have been using WPTouch Pro for the last year or so and have not had any problems with it. Recently, they came out with a new version that broke the shortcode support for my inFocus theme. Shortcodes worked fine with WPTouch Pro Version 3.7.7. They no longer work with this theme in Version 3.7.9 or 3.8.1.
I contacted WPTouch support to get the problem fixed. After 24 hours all I got was a response that the shortcode function does not work with all themes, given the differences on how themes work.
I then asked for some documentation that I could pass along to the theme developers on how the WPTouch Pro handled shortcodes, so that my theme developers could make any changes necessary to get it to work with WPTouch Pro. I got absolutely no response to this.
The support provided for this paid plugin is definitely subpar (if that) compared to what I have seen from other WordPress commercial suppliers.
I'm not a big fan of responsive themes (I personally believe that a mobile site needs a lot of customization to be effective). WPTouch's days seem to have passed. Does anyone have any better options?
This app was the first, but is now outdated and full of bug. For instance, loading next posts does not work... no point paying for such app. You'll find equivalent fee app which are ligher and more stable.
