very unstable plugin. After few minutes, it jumps automatically to desktop version on mobile. Seems the author has made this crap intentionally to increase the selling of pro version.

Works really well right out of the box

This is a fast, no-nonsense way to get a touch-enabled site. Of course you have be considerate of how the content on your pages is displayed. If you have divs with manual widths specified, chances are the mobile layout isn't going to be flawless. But if you design with resizable elements, this just plain works. I only made a few modifications to the default configuration and my site looks great on mobile!

Does its job, customizing is a hassle
By , for WP 4.2.1

It's easy to install, easy to configure and just does its job if you want a quick mobile site.

The German translation is a little whacky and differs from the WordPress one, with showing comments as "responses", I don't really like that. I even send them a new one a while back, but they never did anything with it. To be fair, that can be changed with editing the .po file with poedit but has to be done with each upgrade.

The same goes for the themes. The default ones are great but as soon as you start to customize little things you'll have to do it very often, because this plugin is updated every few days. You can choose to just upgrade it and keep the old version if you want, though.

Although I use it, I can't really recommend it. If you want to do a really custom mobile site, just get a responsive design or a theme switcher plugin which is way less effort to maintain in the long run.

No longer working

The plugin was working fine up until this afternoon. Now it no longer works even with the plugin update.

Does NOT WORK on my iphonw

This used to provide some banal view of your site, old version used to have a major security issue. Current version simply does not work.

Simply brilliant

After a nightmare day Yesterday testing new themes to replace our trusty Twenty Ten https://wordpress.org/support/topic/why-is-there-no-responsive-replacement-for-twenty-ten we decided to look for a plug in. wptouch was the only mobile/desktop switcher listed on the front page of the most popular plugins and we simply had to download and enable it - absolutely brilliant! We had worried our hard-coded text wrapping etc would be a problem but no. OK, the rendering is not perfect, but 90% perfect and Google says now our site is 100% mobile friendly, no ranking penalties.

Today is the day everyone is freaking out about how Google changed it's code and everyone's website will be messed up. I checked - we are fine. Why? This great plugin. I never have to worry about it. The website always looks like I expect it to look.
