The wpMandrill plugin sends emails that are generated by WordPress through Mandrill, a transactional email service powered by MailChimp.
Once again having problems with WooCommerce NOT sending out any confirmation emails and once again searching the web for fixes, I found the suggestion for Mandrill.
Every WooCommerce site should be using Mandrill.
Emails get sent exactly as they are supposed to be. I can resend, or send new emails, with two clicks. I know how many were sent each day. How many bounced. How many were opened within that day.
What an improvement for WP/WooCommerce.
As others have said, "Highly recommended."
This plugin makes it incredibly simple to implement Mandrill as your outgoing mail service in WordPress.
A big bonus, it tags every outgoing message with the name of the WordPress function that created it. This allows you, in the Mandrill dashboard, to filter your messages. For example, only look at statistics for the "Forgot your Password" messages.
Just want to add a word of support to not just this plugin for WordPress, but for the whole MandrillApp system.
It's a great piece of work by a great company.
Easiest way to get mail configured in your WordPress install.
Love that in just a couple minutes -- probably about 15 through all my testing of contact forms (using Contact Form 7) that it works like a charm! Plug in your API key, set a couple easy settings, and you don't have to worry about sending mail from your server any more!
Mandrill is great! :)
The plugin works well overall. There's still a couple bugs with the dashboard and stats updating, but overall it's a great plugin.
never seen any email coming to my inbox in less than a second. simply awesome !!!
