Easy management of 125x125 ads on your blog. Ads can be run for a specified number of days, and will automatically be taken down. Track clicks too.
Not a lot of hand holding with this plugin but it is very simple to set up and get started. Put some ingenuity into it. For instance, keep one blank ad as a link to your ad sales page. Direct people to your other sites, featured posts, etc until you get paid ads running to take up the space.
If you have a problem with ads not showing check the ad block on your own web browser.
Most other problems seem to be fixable with a reinstall of the plugin.
The plugin works fine with 4.1.1. The code is relatively easy to read, understand and modify if necessary. It is not really limited to 125px ads. Adjusting it for any size ad is just a matter of adjusting css.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because support questions aren't being addressed in a timely fashion and it has been a while since an update.
m using on the free template of twentyfourteen. Im confued about what you said: "place the <?php wp125_write_ads(); ?> template tag where you wish your ads to appear."
Where can I add that code? Where is the editor to place that code?
It's not working on WP 4.0!!!
i am new wordpress user. need help in putting 125x125 sponsored ad.
This is a great, quick solution for 125 ads. When setting the slot order to random though I did have some issues with it not serving up some of the ads and putting an empty slot in. Turning off the random display though fixes that.
No customization needed. It just works. Great!
WP125 is really awesome plugin to display ads and manage auto expiry.
Congratulations to the author.
So easy to use and customize. Great support and updates.
After a little research WP125 seemed like the best option for a blog I maintain for a friend. It worked perfectly in the side bar after a little tweaking of the css.
Nice work :-)
