Sends email to notify you if there are any updates for your WordPress site. Can notify about core, plugin and theme updates.
This is a great plugin. It just works. Recommended!
I have used this plugin on more than 50 client sites. It has worked without fail for me. It is simple, light-weight, and reliable. I'd recommend it without reservation. Make sure that your web server PHP config is properly setup and and 5.4 or higher, which you should be the case anyway, and you are good to go.
I use it on several of my websites.
I consider this a security plugin since plugins and themes ought to be kept up to date in case they contain security fixes.
I have multiple sites and am not comfortable with the services out there that let you update everything on all sites from one place. That is convenient but there's something about central access to all my sites from one point that concerns me. WordPress is my livelihood so I prefer to play it safe and manually update plugins when WP Updates Notifier says its time.
The real cron-powered notification option is solid.
I manage multiple wordpress installations, and love the fact that I don't have to visit each site to make sure they're up to date. I was a little leery to install because it hadn't been tested on 4.0, but it's working great!
Very useful plugin. I'm using it on 3 business websites and it is the best solution at updating wordpress, themes and plugins.
I love this plugin cause it is simple and "set it and forget it"... I never understood why WordPress doesn't just implement something like this in the core. But this plugin does the trick, so no complaints!
Very useful to get a notification when your website is not updated so frequently or when waiting for the update of a plugin.
Works as expected - simple and useful.
This plugin does exactly what it states. It is reliable and a useful utility for anyone that manages multiple WordPress installations.
An extension in the spirit K.I.S.S. that I love.
I produced a French translation available on my website, and I'm donating to the community.
If the author integrates "officially" in the extension, I would maintain throughout the releases.
