One Major Fault
By ,

The plugin works as advertised but has one major fault (as others have pointed out). Whenever a post is updated, for any reason, it is auto-posted on Twitter...again. For example if a simple typo is corrected, the post is immediately added to Twitter. When a post is deleted it's added to Twitter. This makes little sense and there is no way to avoid it.

You can limit auto-posting using tags, but there is no option to update or delete a post (even by creating and limiting it using a special tag) to stop posts from being auto-posted on Twitter each time a change is made.

So be sure your post is correct unless you want it posted each time a change is made.

Numerous requests to address this flaw have been posted on the plugin's support page with no response from the developer in over nine months (as of today).

Otherwise, this plugin works as advertised.

Inconvenienced
By , for WP 3.8.1

It does what it says it does: updates Twitter when you publish a new post or update a published post.

Unfortunately, it also updates Twitter when you delete (or otherwise unpublish) published posts. I'm sure not many people do that because it's bad for SEO, but it is a very inconvenient feature for chronic spring-cleaners like me.
