Google Translate WordPress Plugin. Adds a Google Translate widget to your WordPress website.
This works great and the only thing it doesn't do that I would like is allow you to customise where the Translate button sits on your site.
The top line is an attractive "Translate". Below that appears to be an entry box, but nothing can be done with that.
If they can't do it right, then why would anyone bother to pay for "Pro"?
nothing good here.
wp-translate has a a lot of ads :(
& the wp-translate-pro is BS!
◾Set default language: Should be in the free plugin :P
◾Track translation usage "Goolge Analytics": I don't care about that
◾Enhanced widget positioning: Should be in the free plugin :P
◾Ads free…: f your ads!
I have not tried it yet but Transposh looks way better & there is No pro/pay version :D
Almost no settings but lots of ads
All about making you upgrade
Is there a possibility (or will be) to change the languages or add/remove flags and associated translated languages ? I mean within wordpress.
Thanks for your answers.
Can't believe this is a 4.0 version... the only settings I can change is the default language and google analytics
Especially when it is supposed to be 'Google' translate
I'm trying this out on a local installation of WP but it's not showing up. Does it have to be a live site to work?
Works as soon as you activate it on your site. New visitors only see a small Translate button in the upper right of the screen. If you have WP super cache active, you may have to turn it off for a bit and clear the cache. Although that plugin speeds up your sites display, with it updates changes to your site can take a while to show up.
One nice thing about this plug in users can set this site to come up in their language and it will then default to their language on return trips.
I am installing this one on all my sites.
