After installing this plugin, it causes your server to overload so you will have the problem with the hourly 7500 MySQL query limit issue.
The most hardest plugin that I ever used for cache in my wordpress site for clients. Cache stays too long if we changed anything in the code and css even if we input the time duration low from the backend of the plugin settings.
I was wondering why i was logged in on other computers ... WP Super Cache cached the top admin-panel. So everyone can see the admin-user name!
Was not getting much speed boost with this, then ran into the old white screen of death because of a caching issue. I think success may depend on the server environment, but it is not working on the site I tried it on.
wp-super-cache Doesnt work with nextgen
As soon as this plug-in was activated on my WordPress 4.3 site, the administrator console became very unreliable. I tried working through the plug-in setup tabs, however it was unresponsive most of the time and I couldn't manage to find a properly working configuration. Through much pain I managed to deactivate the plug-in when my site began working normal again.
This was on a new site with only sample data and theme; I don't believe my issue had to do with other plug-ins, code or content.
It has been reported time and time again for 6 years.
The plugin serves a random page instead of the home page. Even when you specifically say not to cache it!
You would think an issue that major would get fixed in 6 years, well no, they still have no clue why it happens.
Over the last year, I've tried out WP Super Cache maybe five times on various websites I've been authoring, and without fail, on activation and a viewing (no settings altered) of the settings page, both the admin panel and the website itself crash to a white screen.
I realise that this will probably mean a page speed that's through the roof, but what's the crack here?
Latest attempt was because W3TC is now giving perpetual error messages. Do any caching plugins actually work nowadays?
What a terrible experience. I had to pay someone to fix it.
After installing and running this plugin I got the following error:
"object from empty value in /.../post.php on line 627".
How to fix it? I could not post any new posts.
