Preload stalls numerous times per day with no indication as to why. Support is not responsive for months. Along with the stalls I get emails that I cannot turn off. The Preload tab will not even let me turn off the preload or change any settings. Not an exciting situation.
The plugin slowed down my site terribly and caused intermittent database connection errors all the time. It also slowed down access to dashboard
The site went from a 99.99% uptime to 70.1% after installing the plugin.
A real bulls#it, one of the worst plugins I have ever seen
The developers of this plugin are obviously incompetent and really bad coders. This plugin have hard coded paths in the php files AND database. I didn't encounter this in any other plugin till know. All of the websites' cache config files and DB should be edited after a migration in order to work properly or to work at all. You can imagine what that means if you need to fix 30+ websites!!! The plugin shows errors before that about the paths and can't be accesses via wp-admin. The only solution is to fix their bad written plugin manually! The issue is in the following files:
The hardcoded paths in the DB are located in wp-options. Just search for them.
DO NOT USE THIS PLUGIN. W3 TOTAL CACHE IS MUCH BETTER OPTION!
Could not even use this plugin because I got this error up front: A custom url or permalink structure is required for this plugin to work correctly. Please go to the Permalinks Options Page to configure your permalinks.
Switched to WP Super Cache from W3 Total Cache about half a year ago. I really like that the plugin is really easy to set up and performance is very good.
With current version (1.4.6) the cache rebuild system seems to be broken as the root index.html is deleted unpredictably. Issue is ongoing for two weeks now without any input from one the plugin authors. That's the reason for the one star.
Last update broke my site. I had to restore one of my backups to make my site work again. And I got no help from support. They just ignored my request for help.
After installing this plugin, it causes your server to overload so you will have the problem with the hourly 7500 MySQL query limit issue.
The most hardest plugin that I ever used for cache in my wordpress site for clients. Cache stays too long if we changed anything in the code and css even if we input the time duration low from the backend of the plugin settings.
I was wondering why i was logged in on other computers ... WP Super Cache cached the top admin-panel. So everyone can see the admin-user name!
Was not getting much speed boost with this, then ran into the old white screen of death because of a caching issue. I think success may depend on the server environment, but it is not working on the site I tried it on.
