Works great

Works as expected.
My only complaint is the warnings and notices thrown if you have define('WP_DEBUG', true); in your config.

Works well but use with caution

Caching of websites is a great idea but can do strange things with plugin and theme conflicts so do your homework before installing any caching program.

Takes some work, but worth it.

This plugin's array of settings may be intimidating to less technically proficient users -- it took me a while to dare to tinker and getting the best combination of settings took some trial and error.

However, once you get that down, the results are well worth the effort. The supercached preloaded-page option makes pages load dramatically quicker even on a shared server -- the lag that was a constant problem before is now far more reasonable.

Also, because there are so many options, it can be used effectively with almost any site or server configuration. The flexibility it provides means you can almost certainly work around any conflicts or problems you have with it.

Great tool with minor flaws
By , for WP 3.9

First of all: It works fine, even with heavy customization which uses the output buffer to modify the content - great job!

There are only two minor flaws (therefore not five stars) so far (as of version 1.4):

  • Pre-loading pages is only done for the first site of a multisite network.
  • The single sites of a multisite network will get two identical admin menu entries for the cache configuration - one in Tools and another one in Settings. Settings would be enough.
  • Deleting single pages from the cache seems not to work - there is no error message but the page is still there after clicking the "X" to delete a page from the cache.
  • The "Delete Cache" entry in the Admin bar makes no sense in the backend and is confusing.

But these flaws are not a big problem since the most important part - caching itself - works fine.

The idea of cache filters to add dynamic parts in the site is also really great! I use that to display an event "countdown" which is always up to date, even on cached pages.

Efficient cache plugin

Efficient cache plugin

Usage isn't trivial, but works good.

One piece of advice: only change stuff from automatic settings if you know what you're doing. I'm always afraid to break something.

Note to author: it would be nice if you can temporarily switch into "development mode" or something. Especially since your plugin doesn't seem to like it when you disable it from wp-config. That mode could instantly switch off the cache completely and clear al cache files without losing any settings.

This would be very handy when testing new changes, now you have to go through several steps and make sure you don't forget one.

Great plugin

I've used this plugin for a while now and I'm satisfied. The only flaw is that when you turn the cache off, when you turn it on again it loses the values you set.

Easy installation and intuitive settings.
Overall very happy!
