Six stars?

I do not like to comment, but this plugin deserves more than 5 stars. It is light, easy to install, it's perfect for me. Congratulations for the work.

Best subtitle plugin for theme developers
By , for WP 4.2.2

This is an excellent and well developed subtitle plugin, adding the feature as if it was part of the WordPress core and allowing Theme developers to add support accordingly.

Well done!

Thank you for making this available on the WordPress repo, and for having documentation about adding custom post types.

Works wonderfully.

Excellent plugin.

I'm a theme developer and have used this on a few client projects. After building similar functionality myself into a public theme I'm getting ready to release, I've decided to separate out the functionality and just include this plugin as a recommended plugin:) Thank you Ben and Husani.

Using this plug-in multiple times, always good.
Don't know why this got lower ratings then other subtitle plug-ins, but it works pretty good! Even outside the loop.

A great little plugin...
By Plugin Author, for WP 3.5.2

I'd been using this plugin a while and noted that it hadn't been updated for a long time and was starting to produce errors in more recent versions of WordPress.

I approached the initial developer, Husani, who was happy to give me commit access to update the plugin.

I've now updated WP Subtitle to work with the most recent versions of WordPress, added basic support for custom post types, and added some useful filters in their too.

A great example of how open source should work within the WordPress community.

I hope that plugin developers take note and willingly share commit access with other WordPress developers to help keep plugins updated and current. This is particularly good for the smaller simple plugins which tend to be less well supported, but are easy for any WordPress developer to update without a huge learning curve.
