Completely Inaccurate
By ,

Nothing about the stats are accurate. One day it went from saying I had 10-15 visitors to 500 visitors and over 1000 visits and it has consistently been this way for a couple days. This is great except when I check that against my hits on posts and pages it doesn't add up. My site has also been really slow since this has happened. I've deleted the app and it's file from control panel. Good luck to anyone else with this. It started off seemingly accurate but lately it's been ridiculous.

Results of visit are different when I compare with jetpack statistic plugin. This plug show that I have 10x more visitors.

Added porn links to my database
By ,

If you want to use wp statistics plugin then make sure to check your database after some time, because they are adding porn links to your database and i have experienced that.

I was using the wp statistics plugin for several sites but after checking my database i found out some links to porn websites i tried to check all plugins and after some time i deleted the wp statistics plugin including its tables from my phpmyadmin and once again i checked my database and the links to porn websites were deleted.

Becareful once you deactivate and delete this plugin all the tables will be still available in your database so make sure you also remove those tables too which belongs to wp statistics.

That was what i experienced from using the wp statistics plugin and my websites were not ranking in google because of these bullshit porn links added by wp statistics plugin so be careful with it.

Slowed my site down to a crawl including wp-admin and had to remove via FTP
By , for WP 4.3.1

I have this plugin on 7 of my sites. One day, one of my sites slowed down to a crawl. I checked the pages that didn't depend on WordPress and they were working fine. So it seemed like a WP issue. I then tried to log in to the Admin panel but kept getting the "Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded" error message and it was too slow to even bring up the interface to uninstall or update plugins.

So I had to manually log in to my Webhost and disable the plugins 1 by 1 until I found the culprit: WP Statistics.

Now, I've learned my lesson and uninstalled all 7 copies of this plugin and never looking back again!

Consumes too much memory

The plugin works nice until last version. I installed it a few days ago and
my memory began to exhaust (I have 256 MB memory limit).
I had to uninstall this plugin and everything works perfectly again

Great but...

Great plugin but unusable because of spam referer. We need filters. It also count www version of the website as referer.

Most of statistics aren't correct.

Map not working

Only blank.

Doesn't Work for Me
By , for WP 4.1.1

Installed without a problem, but as has already been reported, the stats don't make any sense - way out of whack with reasonable expectations. For some reason, this plugin also really slows down my site. Access times are double what they should be. When the plugin is removed, access times return to normal. It may just be that it doesn't play nice with other plugins I have installed - don't know. But since the results aren't useful, didn't lose anything by removing it.

Killed my website
By , for WP 4.0.1

I tried to delete all plugin data using the delete/uninstall option in plugin settings menu (I think that's what it is called, not sure as I don't have it anymore) and as soon as I clicked the button my site went blank, just a white page was displayed. Couldn't get to the wp-admin menu of course and the only solution was to delete the plugin folder via FTP. Be very, very careful and think twice before you install this little gem.
