Doesn't work
By , for WP 4.0.1

Tried on 4 different sites. Continue to get 404 error for just trying to use on one image that's only 450kb.

Un gran ahorro de tiempo

Si tienes en cuenta el tiempo que tardas en tratar las imágenes, este plugin vale su peso en oro.

Smushed all my existing photos from my media library, works good! Thx!

Don't Bother With This Slow Plugin

If you want to upload a gallery in a timely manner, don't use this plugin. I had to uninstall it to be able to upload images.

Great start!
By , for WP 4.0

Currently buggy for bulk-smushing existing images, but if you've got just one site or have the time, you can make it work by doing a (half?) page of images at a time. The other limitations are for any images over 1 MB, and the reliance on a remote server for the actual smushing.

Great to use as-is for new sites or small sites that you'll be adding images to.

Hopefully we see WPMU soon refine the bulk functionality and move the compression locally.

Great for image compression
By , for WP 4.0.1

This plugin has worked really well on all of my sites. Images are compressed and optimized automatically whenever uploading any images. Have not had any recent issues at all. Thanks for the great plugin.

Uno de los fundamentales
By , for WP 4.0.1

Use to work great but not anymore
By , for WP 4.0

Use to work; been using it for a few years then it started not allowing me to upload more than one image at a time . . . thought bad connection . . . overloaded server . . . no big.
But it continued to the point of not even being able to create a post because I could not upload any image without trying it a bunch of times.
The other day . . . I wasted almost an entire day (8 hours) just trying all the troubleshooting things I found on the web and forums and nothing worked.
Then I came across a post about "Yahoo" handed the program off to WPMUdev and they thought it was going to be so . . . much better now.

Well . . . it's not so much better; it completely sucks.

I understand . . . it's free . . . but I don't think a lot of people understand what it is doing . . . it is processing data "NOT" on my server but theirs . . . that means resources . . . and how much resources can anyone devote to something that is FREE . . . at some point there is going to be a bottle neck.

Looking for a new solution now

UPDATE-Had to uninstall-All good Now
By , for WP 3.9.2

I had hastily posted below without giving this plugin, or its creators the benefit of the doubt. My bad. I've since gone back and reinstalled and successfully used this to help lower some of my overhead from images.

Rating updated :)

hung while doing bulk run of only 112 images. Ran again then killed my site. Had to disable plugin via FTP. Reading through a bunch of the support forums didn't prove much help.
