It's hard to look for a website snapshot plugin that actually works. It appears they are less likely to be supported as most people don't have a need for them. However, my website has a website directory and I run multiple websites. I tried several plugins to display my websites on my main website, but so far, this is the best plugin that I found. It's old, but it still works! Even on the latest version of WordPress. The plugin is using WordPress' very own website preview capability - This plugin simply uses that feature and simplifies it with a shortcode that you can paste on your page.
Lars is a great developer. I wish he'd make more plugins.
Plugin is great, I have media agency and sell media on my projects, and it is cool to show actual screenshot of my websites in portfolio.
A personal preference would be for the shortcode to also become useable with the less error-prone syntax
[screenshot width="200" url="http://www.example.org/"]
Thanks for this easy solution! Every other plugin I've found so far complicates things too much, so I've almost gave up. Thanks so much again!
This plugin does what it promises, in a simple and effective way. Add a piece of shortcode to define width and the address you want a screenshot of, and that's it. Blends in nicely with the rest of the content on the page.
Great and easy way to make screen shots .... a must have plugin..
