Adds an AJAX rating system for your WordPress blog's post/page.
May I suggest a simple feature? Add a box to the edit post/page screen that when you tick it, enables the ratings (it should be on by default).
So far, I love it, even if it adds a small amount of work to me as the admin of my site.
I really love this plugin.
A tip: My theme is not taking well the code placement of this plugin along with other plugins that add code and text at the and of a post, and I didn't wish to manually go and edit each post and add [ratings] to it.
So, I found this great plugin, "Bottom of every post", http://wordpress.org/plugins/bottom-of-every-post/, and added [ratings] into its content file and now magically all of my posts have the rating stars right after the post's text end.
Post Rating plugins are small widgets that are used on a blog post to get readers' feedback through ratings. These plugins come in handy and are of many types. Among them include star rating, thumbs, tick/cross, etc. These post rating plugins are available on WordPress. The Stars rating plugin is the most commonly used rating plugins on WordPress. This plugin can be use on WordPress posts while other versions can are compatible with custom blog posts.eg (http://markosweb.org)
Their importance can be deduce to readers' feedback which allow a blogger to evaluate the popularity and quality of the post on his/her blog. Most post rating plugins are free and can be downloaded and installed from your WordPress blog.
The installation process does not requires hustling and bustling as it is simple. You only need to download it from the main site. Many bloggers appreciate the usefulness of this plugin and its stats show that it is been downloaded highly everyday just like any other plugins. So why not grab one for your new blog?
I found this great plugin! It is clean, simple and effective.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do without a lot of overhead. I like too how the ratings data is stored in it's own table rather than all in the meta. Also, being able to track by member for my membership site. Thank you!
It's a simple and handy plugin that is easy to modify. It even works with the Genesis Framework. You can put it very fast in every post by using the Genesis Simple Edits plugin.
Thanks a lot for building this plugin. It was just what I was looking for!
Big thanks to Lester for working on this plugin!
I've tried to use 2 ratings widgets, one for each category but they are repeating the same posts on both widgets. So I'd like to know how can I setup it accordingly.
Another question is that the stars are not showing up on SERP. Is there something special that should be done to enable this feature?
Thanks for this beautiful plugin! Just does what it is supposed to do.
