I want all users to verify their email address. I found this post http://rocketgeek.com/filter-hooks/send-new-user-an-activation-link-in-the-new-registration-email/ which asks $59 to unlock the post! This tutorial should be free not paid one.
To ignore those who are potential paying customers and who wordpress allowed their crappy plugin on, the least they could do is reply. I'm one who asked a question 2 Weeks Ago.
Chad, if you were capable of creating a good plugin (or at least smart enough to have some youtube vids and pages with answers) there wouldn't be need of questioning problems, except for the few who don't apply themselves.
However, in my life usually it works out for the best and a Better Door Opens.
Karma to you
The support politics of this plugIn is awesome. Completely left alone if one isn’t willing zp pay (how much by the way?) Never saw any forum to pay for. Great.
This plugin have a bug, when lock content this show content in tags, all content is visible in tag sections....
Well, created a page, protected it. Good. So far so good. Now, I added there posts links and.. the page itself loads, the posts links show "This content is restricted to site members. If you are an existing user, please log ..." but the page LOADS, shows the name of the links, the categories of the links. Something is very wrong here. Deleting plugin. A pity because this is what I was looking for.
They give you a free plugin that does not work with most themes. All kinds of CSS issues. In order to fix the problems of course you must spend $59.
I've installed this plugin when I created my website, and for the purpose I installed it, that is, to save three fields in the registration form to the data base, is not working at all.
I've created a support post but still have not got any response.
When I find another similar plugin, I will unistall this one.
(new install) WP 3.8.1 / twenty fourteen crashed. I made a new user registration. E-mail to a user's password has arrived but can not login. Result: "ERROR !" in the middle of a blank page! message ... After the database is broken .. STAY AWAY from this plugin ...
I uninstalled this post because it wasn't quite what I needed. It posted a warning that all changes made with the plugin would be undone. Fine. It then set my 'super_admin' user level to 'administrator' and, it also deleted the super admin role. That role is fairly integrated into the core and adding the role back does not resolve the issue. I had to restore from a previous database backup.
