This plugin seemed to be working fine enough... pulled a list of all the MeetUp events to one page (even though it's nothing special). I spent 2 days trying to troubleshoot why the sidebar on every single page of my site had moved down below page content. The culprit turned out to be this plugin. What a waste of time. To be fair, it's untested with the most up-to-date version of WordPress, but considering they haven't updated the plugin in 10 months tells me they don't care. Don't waste your time.
I just installed wordpress, everything it set up correctly. Chose a theme, and just happened to choose this plugin as my first plugin install.
Instant 500 internal server error upon activation.
Do not even bother.
Waste of time, waste of time, waste of time.
They are just trying to get you to purchase their support. It is a waste of your time.
I have lost the Calendar widget, the plugin is pulling events in and displaying them as posts in the date order they were pulled from Meetup. The query options filter is also no longer working, so past events are randomly mixed into the list and the results are not limited to the date parameters.
I have tried various edits of the updated shortcodes, but none of the changes restored the way the results should be displayed.
I've already posted my comments on this. I'm giving it a single star because it was a great simple plugin that worked fine until the last update in 01/2014 essentially broke it and stopped it from working. Many people reported that the plugin no longer works for them, so I'm not imagining things. I either have to spend several hours re-coding it or copy and paste an event calendar from EventBrite or find another plugin that works.
