Works good with GMail, simple configuration.
Security note: the plugin stores your password in plain text in the database, and shows it to all admins on the settings page. This could be prevented by setting all settings in wp-config.php (which completely disables the settings page, making the plugin even simpler), but your password is still out there.
Also, you have to configure google to allow unsafe app conections, which i think is only OK in a dedicated account (not used for other business).
This is a good options if you just want to simply enable SMTP and not really worry about anything else.
The main reason I would not use this plugin is because it doesn't encrypt SMTP Auth Information. It leaves it in plain text in the WP admin interface as well as in the DB.
If that doesn't matter to you this is a good option.
