Almost perfect

My only gripe about this otherwise good plugin is that you are not given the choice to display the title/alt text OR the caption. You can either display both or none. This means that the pop up image preview displays duplicate text if you use the same text in the caption as in the alt/title text. As busy developers we don't have the time to create two unique descriptions to avoid the duplication. Life's too short. Our clients who maintain their own blogs also don't have the time to do this. I have seen other users raise this issue and they have basically been blown off - told to create two unique descriptions for alt/title and caption. As a result we are now force to leave the alt and title fields blank (and they are vital for SEO) or turn captions and titles off completely. Surely it would a fairly simple exercise to add this one additional option in the settings? Otherwise, I am quite happy with the plugin, thank you.

Works fine, but unspecific IDs for divs cause problems

Great plugin! Works fine. But I had a conflict with another <div id="overlay"> in my theme. Instead of unspecific IDs and class names, it would be better to use something like <div id="wp-jquery-lightbox"> and <div id="wp-jquery-lightbox-overlay">, so that there are no conflicts with other IDs in the theme or with other plugins.

Sort of works but consider cleaning up code

There are a ton of tags you insert and also you insert an iframe for some reason? Iframes are never ever needed anymore and are considered bad practice! If you need to load something dynamically you can use ajax.

Also if you upload a very large image the lightbox can become larger than 100% of your screen height/width.... made me remove it!

It would also be awesome if media gallerys would automatically become lightboxed! I made this change myself by modifying the wp gallery function to add a rel="lightbox" on the link tag when selecting that the images link to the image instead of a page.

Super Easy, Smooth & Works Perfectly

I have tried a few and this plugin provides a few means to activate code. Easy to use, looks good.
