Yesterday I updated the WP version on two of my websites, both using WP-Insert and both of them immediately slowed down. Turning my plug-ins of and on one by one, I quickly identified the culprit -- WP-Insert is slowing my sites down.
I was forced to leave the plug-in off, so the websites could remain usable, but this is something that needs to be fixed immediately.
We quite enjoyed this for inserting -- and blocking -- in-article advertising. It worked great with post id. The new incarnation appears to need post titles for exceptions, which would be OK, but it seems to be restricted to published posts, which doesn't work for a periodical when we want to set up the exceptions before the posts are published. This is a minor query tweak. Can it be fixed?
