I found this plugin ideal for displaying gpx files on a cycling website, perfect! Thanks
I set up this up in order to log a run using Endomondo. I downloaded the GPX file from there, and then uploaded it via the interface, got the short code, inserted it into the post and boom. 2 mins in total and it looks great on the page. This is the first review I have left on any plug in which says as much about my laziness (I WILL mend my ways) as it does about my enthusiasm for this excellent bit of work. A big thumbs up from me!
I was looking exactly for a solution to have all my rides, all my walks all my activities easy on my (private) site! Easy?
Yep! Download them from my GPS and save them in my webspace - "link" them in a post, tag them - thats it!
Thanks that i spared so much time to have it programmed by my self!
Easy to handle, many features, donate!!!
If you're looking for a plugin to show GPX files on your site, this is what you need!!!
It´s just awesome.
I use it with tracks exported from Garmin´s Basecamp. Nearly the same results and easy to use. Love it and sended 5 bugs to the author! Enjoy.
This plugin is very useful for hiking blog
It shows tracks and waypoints nicely. It's possible to change map symbols. The plugin would be even better, if you could add some custom sym-tag-value-to-icon mappings, to have more options for different waypoint types. Well-made plugin anyway!
Thanks for this wonderful plugin. Documentation and support could be better, but I am not one of those expecting to get everything for a free plugin. I appreciate every work like this!
Shortcodes to integrate GPX datas inside posts and pages would be great (I mean statistics, total elevation, speed, etc)
