Thanks for this great plugin. I advise to change the line
$dummy = ( defined('WP_SITEURL') ) ? WP_SITEURL : get_bloginfo('url');
$dummy = ( defined('WP_SITEURL') ) ? WP_SITEURL : get_bloginfo('wpurl');
if your wordpress installation folder is different from the site,
otherwise you will get an error when downloading the gpx file.
What a great plugin. It's reliable, informative and aesthetically pleasing. The embedded maps allow for a variety of configurations that can then be customized visually to keep your site looking great.
Reasons for the Missing Fifth Star:
1) Support is severely limited ... meaning almost zero.
2) File size limitations (perhaps on the wordpress side instead of the plugin? I don't know because the support is severely limited ... meaning zero) cause larger .GPX files to "hang", followed by a timeout error.
3) Author doesn't want to reply to WordPress.org support area, instead pointing us to the now defunct "forum" where support is completely void.
I'd be willing to BUY this plugin if it would only fulfill the above concerns.
One warning for people in The Netherlands;
The plugin is using Google maps api and Highcharts.com api.
Both api's are setting cookies, so you need to set a cookie consent before the plugin can be activated on your website!
Just surfing plugins and came across the idea of having a good GPX plugin. I tried the other one and the map would not render. This one works great and captures my Google Tracks data nicely.
Feature request for future versions is to have an upload feature for the marker icons.
