The easiest to use Google maps plugin! Create a custom Google map with high quality markers containing categories, descriptions, images and links.
You can only add one map with limited functions. Just too limited for even a free version.
It seems good enough not that my favorite is no longer supported. But, Directions are only available with Pro version, $19.99. It guess it is a one time fee but client is trying to run lean and with googlemaps I can already add maps with an embed.
You get ONE map with the free version, which is not totally clear on the plugin description ("Lite version" bullets erroneously use pluralization, i.e. "Responsive maps".)
From my interaction with this plugin, the free version has unusually limited functionality.
This may be a good plugin, but I am not inclined to get into a relationship with someone this withholding during the dating period.
For those wanting a single map, the lite version of this plugin may indeed offer the robust feature set needed. The description, however, should be corrected: the free (lite) version should read "create a custom map" rather than misleading with the plural.
we use wp-minify-fix to help our google page speed and server optimization and this plugin broke as soon as we turned wp-minify on. we now just embed our own google maps with iframes straight from maps.google.com instead of trying to use a plugin which is more cumbersome.
Nothing actually works and I only see promotion and promotion for the Pro version. Down from 5 to 2 stars!
You see more prices than everything else. What you can do is not much and it's not really handy.
The free version is pretty useless for most use cases. This would be OK, except by time you realize the implications of some of the limitations, you have already put time into setting it up. Unfortunately, the free version won't let you get your data out, so your time has been wasted. If the free version had let me export my data, I would have rated this higher, but all apps should allow data export.
Jumped the gun too soon on this plugin. Yes, it does what it says, but read the fine print better than I did... It does NOT support mashups (consolidated maps based on individual maps). If you have a need for mashups, go elsewhere. Can't believe this app charges for a Pro version and doesn't offer such a simple requirement which most users expect these days.
This is a useful plugin, but it should use
wp_enqueue_scripts function to allow for jQuery being loaded in the footer.
